What is Adizes and its Methodology
Adizes Institute enables ordinary people to transform the management of their organizations and produce extraordinary, sustainable results. The history of Adizes dates back to the spring of 1966, when a young Ichak Adizes, as part of his doctoral dissertation, studied the Yugoslav industrial democracy -management system. This democratic approach to management stood in stark contrast to the top down management approach used in the United States, and it was by studying these two approaches and evaluating their relative strengths and weaknesses that the Adizes® Methodology was first conceived.
The Adizes Methodology is very unique in different ways:
- It has been tested and proven effective for organizations of every size and type in more than 50 different countries around the world and across industries.
- It is a comprehensive unified approach, free from any cultural bias, that brings people of different disciplines and cultures together.
- It views all organizations as living entities, with natural and predictable lifecycles.
Dr. Adizes Biography
Dr Adizes is a Fellow of the International Academy of Management and has served as a tenured faculty member at UCLA. He was a visiting professor at Stanford, Tel Aviv and Hebrew Universities and taught at the Columbia University Executive Program. He also served as Dean of the Adizes Graduate School for the Study of Leadership and Change and is currently an academic advisor to the Graduate School of Management of the Academy of National Economy of the Russian Federation.
Dr. Adizes is founder of the Adizes Institute, based in Santa Barbara, California, an international consulting company that applies the Adizes Methodology for clients in the public and private sectors. The Adizes Institute was ranked as one of the top ten consulting organizations in the United States by Leadership Excellence Journal. In addition to consulting to prime ministers and cabinet-level officers throughout the world.
Dr. Adizes first started training and certifying others in the Adizes® Methodology as far back as 1977. Since then hundreds of individuals have been trained and certified in the Adizes® Methodology establishing thriving offices around the world.
Over the past few decades the Adizes Institute has emerged from a one-man operation into a multinational service organization. Dr. Adizes has written 20 books that have been translated into 26 languages, and he has been awarded 17 honorary doctorates.
Evolve has taken the Adizes methodology to clients in Nigeria introducing their management to the concepts over short bespoke 2 hour programs – if there is any interest to pursue further Evolve gifts the corporates with 6 week long 2 hour weekly program.
The selection of the corporates are from Pacegate and PEARL’s client list.
Future engagement of the corporate with Adizes intervention then can be done directly from the corporate themselves.
The basic purpose is for the corporate and its individuals to grow both in business & internally.
